It’s been a while, but its time for a quick update on what’s been happening from an M&A perspective in the industry these past couple of months. Nothing major, but no shortage of activity that’s for sure, so first up…
Legal sector-focused NetDocuments acquired the ECM veteran WorldDox (they have been around since 1988) – this one was not a surprise considering the Worldox long-time CEO was arrested in September, and clearly, it was time to call it a day.
Also, in the legal sector, Indian-based document forms and automation firm Revv was acquired by LegalZoom.
UK-based Netcall acquired RPA vendor Automagica.
Low Code automation player Process Maker acquired document processing vendor Doculayer, essentially adding IDP to its portfolio.
BPM vendor Work-Relay was acquired by RPA vendor Neostella, extending its automation capabilities to encompass more complex process management.
Document capture vendor AccuSystems was acquired by financial services software firm Alogent.
and finally….
Supply chain software vendor WiseTech (best known for its CargoWise platform) acquired IDP vendor Shipamax.
So a pretty quiet quarter, but many deals are in the works, and as we mention in our 2023 Predictions so, big deals are to come.
